ECHHO

Lori Oberlander is ECHHO’s volunteer interim Executive Director. Ms. Oberlander has extensive background in directing a non-profit. Having served as the executive director of Kitsap County’s Habitat for Humanity for 12 years, she has a depth of experience in the administration of a non-profit organization, volunteer coordination, financial management, as well as experience in researching and writing grant applications.

She has been involved in various organizations serving four years as President of the Kitsap Housing Coalition and chairing events. ECHHO is looking forward to having Lori as part of our team – her dedication and experience will be a great help to ECHHO as we forge ahead in our vital mission to serve those in our community who depend on us for the support and assistance that otherwise would not be available to them.

Meredith Lowry of Port Townsend has been elected to the board of directors of ECHHO. Ms. Lowry is an active Port Townsend Marine Science Center volunteer, chairing their Tides of March auction the past two years. She is also a member of Beach Watchers of Jefferson County.

Earlier, as a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lowry served as executive director of the Faith at Work Community Outreach non-profit organization. She also has worked as a biomedical staff scientist for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.
