ECHHO Welcomes New Board Chairman

After serving with dedication and distinction as ECHHO's Board Chair and volunteer driver for many years, Mr. Tom Branigan is now stepping down from the Board Chairman position. ECHHO is truly grateful for his hard work and service over the years. Under Mr. Branigan's leadership, ECHHO has grown significantly in its capacity to serve the community and we are all proud of his accomplishments.  He will continue to serve on the Board and as a volunteer driver.

Mr. Branigan has passed the chairman's torch to Mr. Hank Hazen. It is an honor and privilege to welcome Mr. Hazen as ECHHO's new Board Chairman and we look forward to working with him. Hank has served ECHHO as a board member since 2004 and as volunteer driver since 1998. His wealth of experience and unwavering dedication have been, and will no doubt continue to be, a tremendous asset to ECHHO. We are confident that his knowledge, expertise and vision will be an invaluable contribution in helping ECHHO define the organization and achieve its goals. We are very fortunate to have Mr. Hazen at the helm!

Jeanette and Bruce Travis are presented award by Ken DaneAt the December 2012 ECHHO Board Meeting, the Board presented a plaque to Mr. and Mrs. Travis, honoring their outstanding service to ECHHO and the community. Bruce and Jeanette founded ECHHO in 1997, establishing in the community a vital service which has experienced continual growth and success to the present day. As the number of people needing ECHHO's help has increased over the years, so has the number of citizens willing to help as volunteers.

ECHHO's volunteers, staff, board members and supporters are truly an example of the fundamental values that define a viable community. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Travis! Your efforts over the years will be forever appreciated by the thousands of people who have been helped so much by ECHHO.

The New Year Offers New Opportunities and Challenges!

As we begin a new year, the demand for ECHHO's services continues to grow, along with an increasing need for more volunteers and financial support. We all want to see our neighbors in need living with greater dignity and independence. Together, we can help make that possible. If you know of anyone who would benefit from the satisfaction and fulfillment that being a volunteer provides, please let them know that there is a growing need for assistance.
