Volunteers Helping Jefferson County residentslive independently


Our mission is to support independent living in our community by working in partnership with volunteers and community organizations in East Jefferson County. Helping is our Middle Name.


Volunteers provide services free-of-charge to individuals who are referred to ECHHO. Services include:
~ Travel to medical appointments ~
~ Home and domestic assistance ~
~ Shopping and errands ~
~ Loans of medical equipment ~


Jefferson County has the largest percentage of senior citizens in Washington State counties, and the 10th most in the United States, with over 5,000 households (42%) with people over 65. We have helped people from age 1 to 106!
