To work in partnership with volunteers and community organizations of Jefferson County to provide transportation, chores, social support and medical equipment so that people may continue to live independently and with dignity, regardless of faith, age, ability or income. Volunteers provide services free-of-charge to individuals who are referred to ECHHO. Services include:

  • Travel to medical appointments and other essential services
  • Household chores and minor repairs (if we can’t do it, we’ll find someone who can)
  • Shopping and errands (pick-up prescriptions)
  • Friendly visits
  • Loans of medical equipment
